🛠️ Manufacturing Labourer – Key Responsibilities
- Assist skilled technicians and engineers across mechanical and electrical applications in workshop and site environments.
- Support the safe handling, movement, and preparation of materials, tools, and components.
- Carry out basic mechanical assembly, cable routing, and containment tasks under supervision.
- Maintain clean and organised work areas before, during, and after tasks.
- Transport tools, consumables, and equipment between workstations and storage areas.
- Follow clear instructions from supervisors and team leads to ensure work is completed safely and to high standards.
- Report hazards or unsafe conditions promptly in line with company health and safety policies.
- Keep accurate records of tasks completed and materials used as directed.
🧰 Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in manufacturing, mechanical/electrical assembly, or construction is desirable but not essential.
- Basic understanding of workshop safety and manual handling practices.
- Willingness to learn and develop practical skills under guidance.
- Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Flexible and reliable approach to work, with a readiness to adapt to changing priorities.
- Valid CSCS/ECS card preferred; training will be provided.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to work across various client sites if required.
