Actemium Automation Hampshire, part of VINCI Energies, is looking for a skilled Software Controls Systems Engineer to design, develop and commission PLC/SCADA/HMI solutions for clients in manufacturing, process and regulated sectors. You’ll join a supportive, wellbeing‑focused team within a global group known for safety, innovation and professional growth.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and deliver control system software from design to handover

• Configure PLCs, SCADA and industrial comms networks

• Conduct FAT/SAT testing, commissioning and site integration

• Provide documentation, technical support and system updates

• Collaborate with clients and multi‑disciplinary teams

• Contribute to continuous improvement and shared standards

What You’ll Bring

• Experience with PLC programming (Rockwell/AB, Mitsubishi, Schneider, Siemens)

• SCADA/HMI development skills (Aveva System Platform)

• Knowledge of industrial comms (Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet, Modbus, OPC/UA)

• Strong problem‑solving and communication skills

• Ability to work independently and within project teams

• Degree in Controls/Software/Electronics or similar (preferred)

• Full UK driving licence

Desirable

• Experience in regulated industries (Water, Oil & Gas)

• Knowledge of ISA‑88/95, GAMP, MES, Python or SQL
